Cemetery Open House

Gilbert is pleased to announce the development and operation of a first class cemetery near the corner of Greenfield and Queen Creek Roads, to the west of Gilbert’s South Area Service Center.

Since its incorporation in 1920, Gilbert has been without a cemetery forcing families to travel outside of the community to obtain cemetery plots and make arrangements for the burial and visitation of loved ones. As Gilbert has grown from its small beginnings to a large modern municipality, there has been an increasing interest by residents and elected officials to have a local option for the final resting place of family and loved ones.

The property is owned by the Town of Gilbert and a lease agreement was entered into with Gilbert Cemetery, LLC to develop and operate the cemetery.
