CURRENT PHASE: Construction

Anticipated construction completion: TBD

Project Description:

Gilbert has contracted with PCL Construction to construct a new reservoir, booster station and potable water well.  Construction is anticipated to begin February 2018 and complete toward the end of 2019.

Construction Phase 1:

Construction work during this phase will begin in February 2018 and complete in April 2018.  Work will take place on both sides of Val Vista Road as a new water line is installed under the roadway.  Crews will also be working at Germann and Coronado Roads to extend the existing water line.  Crews will work during daytime hours to perform construction tasks including soil excavation and water line installation.  Haul trucks may be entering the roadway, but no traffic restrictions are anticipated.

Construction Phase 2:

Construction work during this phase will begin in late 2018 and complete in late 2019. Work will take place at two locations.  A new well site will be constructed on the west side of Val Vista, just south of the Val Vista Academy.  A new concrete reservoir and booster station will be constructed on the south-east corner of Germann and Coronado Roads. No traffic restrictions are anticipated.

Thank you in advance for your patience as we make these infrastructure improvements.
