Your Dollars. Your Gilbert.
Better Parks for You.

The Town of Gilbert is committed to enhancing the parks that make our community special and we’re doing it with your support. We’ve launched a multi-year initiative to improve lakes throughout Gilbert’s park system. These upgrades are designed to boost water quality, modernize infrastructure, and create more sustainable, enjoyable spaces for everyone to enjoy.

This project includes a wide range of improvements to enhance the health, sustainability, and long-term performance of lakes throughout the Town of Gilbert. Efforts include dredging and replacing lake liners, testing for sediment and seepage, upgrading pumps and aeration systems, reconditioning pump stations, and removing some turf to reduce runoff. Additional features are being added to support environmental resilience and water quality. These enhancements reflect our ongoing commitment to reinvesting your dollars into the parks you love, ensuring they remain vibrant, sustainable spaces for the entire community to enjoy.

Various lakes will be renovated over the next several years, and each location will be in different phases at different times. For status updates by lake, please see the 'current project activity' section below.
