Gilbert Police GAIN Banner

A good neighbor is one of the most effective crime prevention tools. The purpose of Getting Arizona Involved in Neighborhoods (GAIN) is to heighten crime awareness, generate support and participation in local anti-crime efforts, and build community relations. Due to the hot nature of the Arizona summer months, GAIN is celebrated throughout the month of October in Arizona. Just like it's east coast counterpart National Night Out held in August due to the cooler weather.

Come join us in reinventing the way the Gilbert community interacts with it's neighbors! How can you get involved? Gather your neighbors and get them on board! Throw a neighborhood block party during the month of October and send our Crime Prevention Specialist Klair Weiland a invite to your party via email at Klair.Weiland@gilbertaz.gov. This will notify us that your party is happening, allow us to help provide ideas, and allow us the opportunity to join you at your party!

If you plan on hosting a GAIN event please read the following:

If your neighborhood wants to close a road or request trash cans or barricades, the Town requires you to submit a Block Party Permit at least 5 days prior to the date of the event and pay a $25.00 fee. For this form Click here.
