Diversity Committee

The Gilbert Police Department values the diversity of our community and our employees. The Chief of Police hosts quarterly community meetings to help facilitate transparency between the Police Department and the community in which we serve. The Police Department facilitates and participates in numerous meetings throughout the year to help build relationships and open lines of communication. Participants represent our diverse community, including, but not limited to members representing the following communities: Faith-based; Disabled; African-American; Arab; Asian; Hispanic; Native American Indian; Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transgender, Queer (LGBTQ); and representatives from our Schools; Hospitals; Businesses; and Non-Profit Organizations.
