The Gilbert Police Department is comprised of highly skilled law enforcement officers, certified by the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board (POST), along with a professional support staff to ensure the effective enforcement of the State of Arizona laws. Our mission is to serve and protect the citizens of Gilbert, Arizona by committing to enhancing the quality of life and serving with integrity, trust, and respect.

To ensure full transparency, we have placed many of our current policies on this website for review. We have also developed an intensive self-assessment inspection process to ensure the Gilbert Police Department:
