Registration for all divisions of Gilbert Youth Spring Ball must be completed online at gilbertrecreation.com, or at the links below. Registration will open to the public from Jan. 6 - Jan 23; additional registration will open Feb. 3 - Feb. 13if spots are available. Registration will not be accepted after Feb. 13.

Full refunds/withdrawals will be accepted through Jan. 23. No refunds thereafter.

Divisions & Registration

 All players in the Youth Spring Ball Program must participate in their divisions as of their age on:
April 6, 2026

Team Selection

During registration you will be asked to select a team for the participant. Teams are labeled based on Gilbert Public Schools/Higley Unified Schools. T-ball and softball teams are capped at 14 players per team and baseball teams are capped at 13 players per team. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. If the school/team you planned on selecting is full or if your child does not attend any of the schools listed during registration, please select the next closest school to your home.

We are unable to accept special requests for team placement. This includes requests to play on a specific team or with a specific individual. Family and friends wishing to play together should register at the same time and select the same school/team during registration. After the initial online registration period, some teams will be combined based on registration numbers and location. For liability reasons, we are unable to allow players to play up or down from their age group. We appreciate your understanding.

Games/Locations

Games run April 6 - May 14 and are scheduled Monday-Thursday at Cactus Yards or Discovery Park depending on division.*

T-ball plays a 9 game season at Discovery Park; teams play 1 or 2 games per week any day Monday-Thursday. All games start at 6pm.

All other divisions play a 12 game season at Cactus Yards; teams play 2 games per week, any day Monday-Thursday**. Game times are 6pm or 7:15pm.

*All division locations and times above are tentative and may change if needed. Final schedules will be available at gilbertrecreation.com at the conclusion of registration.

Practices

Practice locations and schedules are determined by volunteer coaches. Teams may meet 1 to 3 times weekly for practice prior to the start of games and throughout the season. Participants will not begin practice or be contacted by coaches prior to March 9.
