The 2017 Gilbert Days Parade applications are now available.
All Entries Must Check in November 14-15 at the Parks and Recreation Office
- A representative from each parade entry will be required to pick up their parade packet, flag and parking pass(s) between November 14th-15th at the Parks and Recreation office (90 E. Civic Center Drive). The office is open 7am-6pm. The information you will receive will be needed in order to maintain your reservation/space in the parade line up. Entries will not be permitted into the parade line up area without this information. Parking passes will only be given to the vehicles that have pre-registered. Please do not request to add vehicles to your entry, as your position in the parade is based on what you had submitted at registration.
There will be no check in available on parade morning.
Please notify all participants in your parade entry must use the parking areas designated on the Parade maps you will receive in your parade packet. Only entries that are scheduled to be in the parade will be allowed into the staging areas. Participants can be dropped off in the Drop off zone, and must walk to the staging areas to meet with their groups.
All groups must be set and ready by 7:45am on the morning of the parade in their designated staging areas.
Please remember: No candy or objects may be thrown from the floats/vehicles. Items must be handed to the crowd. Please distribute to the right of your parade entry only!
Equestrian and Dog Entries:
All equestrian and dog entries must provide their own pooper scoopers behind their entries. Those not cleaning up after their animals will not be permitted to participate in future parades.
Please be considerate to those walking behind the animals.
