For those that registered for the Spring Kapow Run that was postponed until October, you will not have to reregister for the October event. Your registration will be transferred and the race time you selected will remain the same. We recommend you keep a copy of your receipt until packet pick up.
Get ready to tie on your capes and be a Superhero at The KAPOW! Superhero Adventure Run on Saturday, October 3, 2020 presented by Banner Health Center. This is a costumed run fit for the whole family with fun and challenging obstacles. Runners are encouraged to wear their favorite superhero costume as they participate in a family friendly course with 20 + playful obstacles, with a distance just under 2 miles. The Adventure run course includes many challenging obstacles such as the Spiderman Tower, Thor Tires, Iron Man Crawl, Wonder Woman Wall, and back by popular demand the Aqua-man's waterside.
This year you will be able to select your wave time during the registration process.
$25 per person August 10-September 25
$30 per person September 26-October 1
No Registrations will be taken the day of the event.
Event Site- Freestone Park, 1045 E Juniper Ave.
Food and beverage vendors will be onsite.
The event site walk ways are stroller and wheelchair accessible.

There will be no on-site registration available. All participants must register before October 1st.
All participants that are on the course must register (Spectators may not be on the obstacles). Children 2 AND UNDER, strollers and pets on leash are all welcome to the event, but may not participate on the obstacles. Children ages 3-7 years old must be registered with a parent or guardian, and they must remain with the child throughout the event. Some obstacles may be challenging for some ages.
Pre-Registered ParticipantsPacket Pick up which will be held on September 30th-October 1 at the Parks and Recreation Office-90 E. Civic Center Drive- 2pm-5:30pm. There will be no runner packet pick up on October 1st. Packet pick up is where participants will also get their race wristbands, superhero gift and event bag. Product are first come first serve, mark your calendars and come early. Sorry No Refunds will be issued.
After you have successfully conquered our course you can visit our "Gotham City" between 8am-12pm. Gotham City will consist of finish line refreshments, music entertainment, inflatable activities, visit with Arizona's "Superhero's" and participate plenty of photo opportunities with your favorite Superhero!
