The Gilbert Symphony Orchestra is one of Gilberts newest community events.  Come out and join the talent and musical entertainment of local performers on this inaugural event.  This free event will be produced by the Town of Gilbert in partnership with the Higley Center for the Performing Arts.

Upcoming Event Dates:

October 11, 2019- 7pm- Higley Center for the Performing Arts

The repertoire for this concert will feature:

Fanfare for Our Latin American Allies by Henry Cowell

Symphony No. 9 in E Minor "From the New World" by Antonin Dvorak 

With the second half of the performance featuring music for Halloween:

Overture to "Don Giovanni" by Wolfgang Mozart

Danse Macabre by Camille Saint-Saens

Several selections from "Phantom of the Opera" by Andrew Lloyd Webber 

Spring Performance- March 13, 2020- 7pm- Site TBD

Performers: 

The Town of Gilbert is currently seeking interested performers to join the Symphony for both upcoming event dates listed above. Although repertoire for each event is being finalized, we continue to look for talented performers that would like to join this amazing group. We have a need for all string, wind, brass, and percussion performers.  If you are interested in auditioning to participate please email denise.merdon@gilbertaz.gov to make arrangements to audition.

Rehearsal Details:

Rehearsals for the upcoming events will begin in September 2019.  Performers will be notified via email rehearsal details as they become available.
