GILBERT GLOW RUN

October 18, 2019 | Freestone Park | Run Time 6:00 p.m.

The Gilbert Glow Run is an event designed for people of all ages and athletic abilities. Runners, walkers, skippers and jumpers are welcome to join in for an evening filled with glow sticks, black lights and great music.

This event is not timed, making it ideal for both experienced runners and first-time participants. On your mark, get set, let’s glow!

Registration for the 2019 Gilbert Glow Run will begin August 26, 2019.  No onsite registration will be accepted.

Strollers and Pets on leash will be permitted on the course during designated wave times only.   Both are welcome and at the event site Glow Zone at anytime. 

All participants that are on the course must register.  Children ages 3-7 years old must be registered with a parent or guardian.  Children 2 and under are welcome to participate for free in a stroller.   Pets are welcome on a leash.  The course is not a paved route and includes a variety of uneven surfaces.

Fees: $30 per person (includes race shirt, glow experiences and musical entertainment)  $10 off if registered before September 30, 2019.

Packet pick up will be held on October 16th-17th at the Gilbert Parks and Recreation office at 90 E. Civic Center Drive, between the hours of 2-6pm.  Packet pick up is required for all participants to obtain a race entry glow bracelet (to be worn the day of the event), a t-shirt and the selection of wave start time (start times will be assigned every 15 minutes between 6:15pm and 7:45pm)

Course:

The course is approximately 2 miles long.  There will be directional help along the route, with glowing markers and volunteers helping light the way.  The course will include, foam, bubbles, powder, laser lights and more!

Awards:

There are no finisher medals or awards at the end of the run.  The event is more of an entertainment experience that we want participants to remember.

Vendor & Food Truck Information

If you are interested in being a vendor or food truck at the 2019 Glow Run please fill out a vendor interest form and return it to Dina Lopez at dina.lopez@gilbertaz.gov.  We are currently accepting vendors themed towards our event and have limited food truck space available.
