The Gilbert Days Glow Run is an event designed for people of all ages and athletic abilities. Runners, walkers, skippers and jumpers are welcome to join in for an evening filled with glow sticks, black lights and great music.

This event is not timed, making it ideal for both experienced runners and first-time participants. On your mark, get set, let’s glow!


Registration Information

Registration for the 2019 Gilbert Glow Run will begin August 26, 2019.  No onsite registration will be accepted.

Strollers and Pets on leash will be permitted on the course during designated wave times only.   Both are welcome and at the event site Glow Zone at anytime. 

Children 10 years and under must run with a registered adult (18+).  Children under 2 years of age participating on foot or being carried are free with a paid adult.  The under 2 child must have parent/ guardian fill out waiver during packet pick up October 15-16.  Due to this event being at night with minimal lighting and for the safety of all Strollers will only be permitted during designated wave start times.  The course is not a paved route and includes a variety of uneven surfaces.

Fees: $25 per person (includes race shirt, glow experiences and musical entertainment)  Look for special discount offers in September 2019.

Packet pick up will be held on October 15-16 at the Gilbert Parks and Recreation office at 90 E. Civic Center Drive, between the hours of 2-6pm.  Packet pick up is required for all participants to obtain a race entry glow bracelet (to be worn the day of the event), a t-shirt and the selection of wave start time (start times will be assigned every 10 minutes between 6:15pm and 7:15pm)


The course is approximately 2 miles long.  This is an evening run, and for safety purposes, all children under 10 years old are required to have a registered Adult (18+) run with them.  There will be directional help along the route, with glowing markers and volunteers helping light the way.  The course will include, foam, bubbles, powder, laser lights and more!


There are no finisher medals or awards at the end of the run.  The event is more of an entertainment experience that we want participants to remember.
