Gilbert Parks & Trails

Our goal is to prioritize the health of Gilbert residents by reducing opportunities to gather. Gilbert, Arizona will be closing the following park amenities to help flatten the curve and contain the spread of COVID-19.

As of Friday, May 15, the following park amenities will reopen for residents to use at their own risk:

  • Basketball Courts
  • Drinking Fountains
  • Fenced dog areas at Crossroads and Cosmo Parks
  • Freestone Skate Park
  • Gilbert Regional Park (Splash Pad Closed)
  • Playgrounds
  • Restrooms
  • Tennis Courts
  • Volleyball Courts

The following park amenities will be remain closed:

  • Splash Pads

All trails, walking paths, and open spaces will be open from 5:30am to 10pm. Remember social and physical distancing guidelines recommended by the CDC apply inside all Gilbert parks. View a full list of Gilbert Parks here.
