Not Your Typical Community Center!

Aside from holding various recreation classes for all ages, this center is truly a gathering place for all people. Once you walk in the front door you will experience the home grown feel of a small town community. Here we service the families in the Heritage District with a safe place for children to come and enjoy recreation.

For the Active Adults, 55 and over, we host on-going affordable trips, card games, crafts, painting classes, exercise classes, dancing to live bands, movies, bingo and bunko. The Adult Program is overseen by AZCEND, and assisted by the Town of Gilbert.

Now Hiring the following positions at the Gilbert Community Center!

Recreation Instructor: As a Recreation Instructor the main role is to teach recreation classes for various age groups. We are specifically looking for gymnastics, dance, and art (drawing, watercolor, painting) instructors. 

Recreation Leader: The primary role of the Recreation Leader is to work at the front desk, answering customer questions, enforcing policies and procedures, and handling facility rentals, including set-up, clean-up, and tear-down. We are specifically seeking staff with late-afternoon, evening, and weekend availability.
