The Town of Gilbert Parks and Recreation Department owns and maintains public and some private parks (including riparian areas) ranging in size from less than one to more than 119 acres. The Town currently provides twelve public Neighborhood Parks, two Community Parks, five District Parks and a wide array of specialty parks that include a dog park, riparian areas, and soccer fields. You’re invited to join Mayor Jenn Daniels and the Gilbert Town Council to celebrate the groundbreaking of phase one of Gilbert Regional Park on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at 8:30AM at 3079 East Queen Creek Road in Gilbert.
Phase one park amenities will include an iconic mountainous playground and a splash pad for all ages and abilities, as well as tennis and pickleball courts. Phase one construction is anticipated to be completed in September 2019. Once fully built out at 272 acres, Gilbert Regional Park will be an attraction and amenity that Gilbert residents visitors and citizens in the region will enjoy.
