Make A Record Request Online (JustFOIA Request)

Scheduled maintenance can occur Thursday nights from 8pm - 10pm MST. and may affect submission of request. If you get an error during this time, please try and submit again outside the maintenance window.

Medical Records Requests

Pre-Hospital Care Reports are protected under federal and state law. To ensure Gilbert Fire & Rescue Department complies with its obligations, a JustFOIA request form must be completed for each record requested, along with the required supporting information.

Within the JustFOIA form, you'll see a list of documents needed to fulfill your request, based on your relationship to the patient.

Fire Record Requests

Fire incident reports, inspection reports, and other fire-related records can be requested through the same JustFOIA request form.

Service of legal documents, including Subpoenas for Records and liability claims, against the Town can be delivered in-person to Muni I located at 50 E Civic Center Drive, Gilbert, AZ 85296.

FAQs

How long does it take to receive a record request?
Once the form and all required documentation are received, Gilbert Fire & Rescue processes requests as quickly as possible.

Typical turnaround: within 10 business days

Same-day, walk-in service is only granted in rare, special cases where the request can be accommodated. This should not be expected.

How will I receive my records?
When submitting your request through the online JustFOIA portal, you can choose how you'd like to receive your records:

Electronically — records are delivered via a secure link sent to your email, allowing you to download the requested records
In Person Pickup — we will coordinate pickup details with you directly through the portal
Mail — records are sent to the mailing address provided in your request

Records are handled by specific staff at the Public Safety Training Facility — please call ahead before visiting in person to confirm staff availability or that someone will be able to assist. Available at the Gilbert Public Safety Training Facility, 6860 South Power Road, Gilbert, AZ 85297, Monday–Thursday, Closed Fridays
