The Gilbert Fire and Rescue Department is dedicated to keeping our community a safe place to live, work, and play by embracing the principles of engineering, education, and compliance. We achieve this through partnering with local businesses, schools, and residents to ensure that they have the necessary safety information.
Community Programs such as the Child Passenger Safety Program, Juvenile Fire Setter Intervention Program, fire prevention school program and drowning prevention awareness are just some of the ways we engage in public education. Community outreach programs that we facilitate include our back to school supply drive and holiday toys and clothing drive. Fire station tours and truck displays at community events are also an important part of interacting with our community.
From our firefighters in the field, to our dedicated administrative staff including our most unique fire investigator Spring, we are committed to educating the Gilbert community about fire safety and injury prevention.
