In Arizona, we impose a Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT), commonly referred to as "sales tax". The Arizona Department of Revenue (AZDOR) administers this tax for all municipalities, which means that you file and pay directly to AZDOR (online or by paper) for all taxable activity in Arizona. AZDOR processes and distributes information and money to us.

There are many different factoring formulas depending on city taxes, county taxes or differences in allowable city tax deductions. Here is a helpful worksheet to assist you in factoring tax.
