Welcome to the Town of Gilbert Tax Compliance Division webpage. We are here to help you navigate the requirements both locally and statewide for Transaction Privilege Tax.

We are modifying our assistance, for any questions that cannot be answered via email, telephone or virtually, you can set up an in-person appointment. When contacting us, please allow enough time for us to answer all your questions. Here are some of the common reasons that our residents contact us as well as how much time to allocate.

  • General questions: 15 – 60 minutes
  • Residential rental questions: 30-45 minutes
  • General AZTaxes.gov questions: 30 minutes
  • TPT Licensing – either electronic or via paper: 60 minutes
  • Filing/paying your transaction privilege tax: 60 minutes
  • AZDOR notices you have received: 60 minutes

As a reminder, we are here Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM and closed on Fridays. Masks are required to enter Town buildings.
