We are modifying our assistance, for any questions that cannot be answered via email, telephone or virtually, you can set up an in-person appointment. When contacting us, please allow enough time for us to answer all your questions. Here are some of the common reasons that our residents contact us as well as how much time to allocate.
- General questions: 15 – 60 minutes
- Residential rental questions: 30-45 minutes
- General AZTaxes.gov questions: 30 minutes
- TPT Licensing – either electronic or via paper: 60 minutes
- Filing/paying your transaction privilege tax: 60 minutes
- AZDOR notices you have received: 60 minutes

As a reminder, we are here Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM and closed on Fridays. Masks are required to enter Town buildings.

You can now renew your TPT license online at AZTaxes.gov. Only businesses with one location will receive a renewal notice in the US Mail; all other businesses are required to renew online. While the Town of Gilbert does not have a renewal fee, all businesses must renew their license in order to receive the 2020 TPT License.
The due date to renew your TPT license is January 1, 2020. Please take this opportunity to update and verify account information (for example, if your business or a location closed) to prevent possible fees and penalties.
The Arizona Department of Revenue has partnered with the Town of Gilbert to host a class in Gilbert on AZTaxes.gov on December 11, 2019. Registration information can be found here.
