Mayor Jenn Daniels has announced that Gilbert, Arizona has been selected as one of 10 new cities to participate in Bloomberg Philanthropies’ What Works Cities (WWC) initiative – one of the largest-ever philanthropic efforts to enhance the use of data and evidence in the public sector. Gilbert hosted its first ever Digital State of the Town in 2013. This annual documentary-style video production highlights the accomplishments of the Town of Gilbert during each year, as well as the Mayor, Council members, and many local business leaders. The annual videos are available online for others to view, giving people who do not have the opportunity to attend the State of the Town events a chance to view the highlights of the past year and to share with others across the state and around the country.
