On February 4, 2020, the Gilbert Town Council unanimously approved the 2020 General Plan branded as the Town’s “Plan For Our Future”.

An innovative part of Gilbert's Plan for Our Future involves a shift from the original General Plan document structure.  The Plan is now organized around three broad, interconnected themes of Community, Opportunity, and Connectivity.

The 2020 General Plan will now be placed on the August 4, 2020 Primary Town Election for final voter ratification.
