2016 Primary Election Information
The Town of Gilbert will hold a Primary Election on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 for the purpose of electing a Mayor and two Councilmembers. A General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 (per Resolution 3852).

Also on the Ballot will be the following questions:
Question 1: Shall the Town of Gilbert be authorized to sell approximately 58.16 acres of Assessor Parcel Number (APN) 304-58-009E, surplus real property generally located at the southwest corner of Greenfield Road and Germann Road, a full legal description for which is available from the Town of Gilbert and is posted to the Town’s website, as it is no longer needed for park purposes?
Question 2: Shall the Town of Gilbert be authorized to sell approximately 80.00 acres of Assessor Parcel Number (APN) 304-80-018E, surplus real property generally located at the southwest corner of Greenfield Road and Chandler Heights Road, a full legal description for which is available from the Town of Gilbert and is posted to the town’s website, as it is no longer needed for park purposes?

To vote in the Primary Election, residents must be registered with Maricopa County Elections by August 1, 2016.

Election Day Information
Polls will be open on Election Day, August 30, 2016 from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Persons in line at 7:00 p.m. will be permitted to cast a ballot. Polling locations will be printed on your sample ballot.

Early Voting, By Mail
Registered voters may request a ballot by mail, by phone, or through the Maricopa County Elections website.
Phone requests for ballots may be made by contacting the Town Clerk’s Office (480) 503-6871 or Maricopa County Elections at (602) 506-1511. Persons requesting a ballot over the phone need to provide their name and address, date of birth, and voter identification number (if available).

Early Voting, In Person
Persons who wish to cast an early ballot may do so at the Gilbert Municipal Center, 50 East Civic Center Drive, Gilbert, Arizona, beginning August 3, 2016 and ending August 25, 2016. Early ballots may be cast Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
