Citizens Transportation Task Force (Ad Hoc Committee)
Gilbert Transportation Advisory Committee
Nine members of the Citizens Transportation Task Force will serve in an advisory capacity concerning transportation projects and issues related to and including arterial streets, intersections, bicycles, pedestrians, trail crossings and traffic management systems.
The Task Force will work to review and provide input on Gilbert’s overall transportation system to address needs in the areas of safety, traffic congestion mitigation, economic development and investment, and advanced traffic management systems.
Members must reside within the Town limits. There will be one member selected from each of the nine geographic sections of Gilbert shown below.
Participation may range from monthly to weekly meetings. The ideal candidate will be satisfied with the sometimes-limited activity, but also fully engaged when the need arises. Members of the Task Force will serve a term through December 1, 2020.
Ad Hoc Committees meet as needed.
