Volunteer 

Volunteers of all ages are needed to assist Gilbert residents who, due to limited financial resources and/or physical limitations are needing assistance with some basic household services. Projects can include assistance with light outdoor yardwork (mowing, pulling weeds, help with trash and recycling) and/or light indoor housework cleaning (mopping, vacumming, dusting etc.).

Under 18? All Volunteers under the age of 18 will require a signed parent/guardian waiver.  Download waiver HERE.  Volunteers under 15 must be accompanied by an adult when voluntering.  

Interested in volunteering as a group? Please have one group leader register and email melanie.dykstra@gilbertaz.gov to indicate your interest in serving as a group.  We’ll follow up to coordinate details.

Senior Friendly Visits

Gilbert's non-profit partner AZCEND offers a Friendly visit program to seniors.  Volunteers 21+ who are caring and compassionate are needed!

Receive Assistance

If you are interested in receiving assistance on this day, please fill out and return the form below by December 29, 2025 .  All decisions concerning applicants, recipients and projects are at the discretion of the volunteer coordinator. There is no guarantee that any applicant or recipient will be accepted, or project be completed. You will be contacted at least one week prior to the event day to confirm your request has been accepted.
