May 19, 2021: Round 3 of the #GilbertTogether Business Relief Grant application process opened on Wednesday May 19, 2021. Applications were accepted until June 25, 2021 and have now closed.
May 17, 2021: The Gilbert Town Council AZCares Subcommittee allocation of $400,000 to offer discounted recreation programming to Gilbert residents has been fully utilized. From November 30, 2020 to May 17th, 2021, 7,033 Gilbert residents benefitted from this program with over 12,000 household transactions.
March 30, 2021: The Gilbert Town Council approved the allocation of $2 million toward the Environmental Services Residential Fund and $200,000 toward the Environmental Services Commercial Fund from AZ Cares Act Funds. This was the result of a reduction of allocation fro the #GilbertTogether Business Recovery Loan program. Learn more.

October 19, 2020: Gilbert partners with Desert Financial Credit Union to Administer $50,000 Microloans. This second phase of the #GilbertTogether Business Recovery Program will provide loans from $10,000 - $50,000 to qualified businesses. Interested businesses can learn more by visiting gilbertaz.gov/BizPrograms.

September 29, 2020: The Gilbert Town Council hosted a special virtual meeting to discuss the allocation of AZCares general funds.
September 2, 2020: A virtual Nonprofit Town Hall will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, September 2nd to discuss the CARES ACT nonprofit funding opportunity and answer questions. Advanced registration is requited. Register to attend the Nonprofit Town Hall.
August 31, 2020: Applications for nonprofit assistance are now open and will close on September 13, 2020. An electronic application process is used and all information is available at gilbertaz.gosmart.org.
August 18, 2020: The Town of Gilbert and the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce requested feedback from the business community to better understand its financial needs and how they were impacted by COVID-19. With this feedback, the subcommittee was able to review levels of concern provided by the business community.
