Commander Randy Brice has served the community as a law enforcement officer for more than 24 years. He began his career with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office in 1992.

Randy has served in a number of different areas including Patrol, Special Enforcement, Lake Patrol, SWAT, Criminal investigations, Dive team, School Resource, Mounted, Training, Traffic, and other specialized units. He obtained a number of specialized certifications including DRE, EMT, & Paramedic (CEP).

In May 2016, he retired from the Sheriff’s Office at the rank of Captain. Upon retirement, Commander Brice joined the Gilbert Police Department as a Commander over the Feld Operations Division. He currently serves as the Commander over Central Patrol. Randy has earned a Bachelor of Business Administration-Organizational Management with Honors from Ashford University and is a graduate of the 249th Session of the FBI National Academy.

Randy is an active member of his church, a strong family man, and a dedicated father.
