Gilbert, Ariz- September is National Senior Center Month, and the Gilbert Senior Center is celebrating with a full calendar of programs, weekly raffles, and an open invitation for the community to see what the center has to offer.

The Gilbert Senior Center is located at 130 N. Oak Street. It serves adults 55 and older with programs year-round, from arts and crafts to fitness classes to field trips.

This September's lineup includes:

• Senior Bingo, Mondays and Fridays through Sept. 28
• Pizza Party Lunch, Sept. 16
• Popcorn & Picture Show, Sept. 16
• Spanish Party, Tuesdays and Fridays through Oct. 9
• OdySea Aquarium Field Trip, Sept. 10
• Senior Dine-In, Sept. 15
• Dementia Family and Caregiver Support Group, first & third Tuesday of every month

Weekly raffles will also run throughout the month for a little extra fun.

For adults 60 and older, the center offers an in-person hot meal service Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. No reservation is required. The suggested donation is $4.50 per meal.
