Gilbert, Ariz.- Wednesday night's storm caused damage in several Gilbert neighborhoods, knocking down trees, blocking roads and causing traffic light outages. Gilbert crews are actively working to clear debris and restore traffic lights. Residents should avoid downed trees, especially those near utility lines, and not attempt to move large debris. Please wait for our crews to arrive. If you see a tree caught in power lines, keep a safe distance as this can be life-threatening.  If you must drive, please do so with caution and remain alert for work crews and other drivers.
