Gilbert, Ariz. – Annual concrete repairs on trails throughout Gilbert will begin Monday, June 8. Each year, areas throughout the Town’s trail system are selected for repairs. This year’s repairs will occur in two areas along the L202 trail, one area of the Western Canal Trail, and one area of the Powerline Trail. Crews will be working in the areas highlighted on the map linked below.

During repairs, trail users will be detoured with signs and barricades directing pedestrians and cyclists safely around the work areas. The project is expected to take approximately 90 days to complete, weather permitting.

What to Expect:

• Trail closures: Trails will remain open, but specific sections under repair will be temporarily closed.
• Detours in place: Trail users should follow posted signs directing them to alternative paths.
