Gilbert, Ariz.- As temperatures rise across the Valley, some of our neighbors don't have a safe place to escape the dangerous heat. The Heat Relief Network is here to change that.
From May 26 through September 25, local respite sites across Gilbert open their doors Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., providing a cool, welcoming place to rest, recharge, and enjoy a warm meal.

Free air-conditioned locations that offer hydration and a place to rest. All locations are open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM.
Cooling Centers
The Town of Gilbert also offers welcoming indoor spaces where community members can cool off, enjoy air conditioning, and free water.

For many guests, these sites are more than shelter from the heat, they are a lifeline and they depend on all of us.
Many visitors arrive without even the most basic sun-safety essentials. A bottle of sunscreen, reusable water bottle, electrolytes, wide-brim hat, or cooling towel can mean the difference between comfort and crisis in Arizona’s extreme summer temperatures.
