Westbound Loop 202 Closures at Lindsay Road Starting March 13

Gilbert, Ariz.- The Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers of the following closures scheduled for work on the Loop 202 (Santan Freeway) widening project:

Eastbound Loop 202 will be narrowed to two lanes between Alma School Road and Arizona Avenue from 10 p.m. Friday, March 20, to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 21, and 8 p.m. Saturday, March 21, to 10 a.m. Sunday, March 22. The eastbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Alma School Road and the eastbound off-ramp at Arizona Avenue closures have been postponed.

The eastbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Val Vista Drive will be closed from 9 p.m. Thursday, March 19, to 5 a.m. Friday, March 20.

Eastbound Loop 202 also will be narrowed to two lanes during this time. The eastbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Arizona Avenue will be closed nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday, March 23, and ending the Wednesday morning, March 25.

Eastbound Loop 202 also will be narrowed to two lanes during this time.

Lindsay Road will be closed in both directions at Loop 202 from 10 p.m. Friday, March 27, to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 28. 
Note: The overnight closure scheduled for Friday, March 20 to Saturday, March 21 has been postponed. 

Detour: Drivers may use Pecos or Germann roads to navigate around the closure.

Upcoming closures and restrictions: 

The westbound Loop 202 on-ramp at Cooper Road and westbound off-ramp at McQueen Road will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday, April 3, to 5 a.m. Saturday, April 4.

Westbound Loop 202 also will be narrowed to two lanes during this time.

Eastbound Loop 202 will be closed between Price Road and Arizona Avenue from 10 p.m. Friday, April 3, to 5 a.m. Monday, April 6.

Ongoing restrictions:

Northbound Arizona Avenue will be narrowed to two lanes between Willis and Pecos roads from 8:30 a.m. Monday, March 16, to 5 p.m. Friday, April 3.
