CoyoteCenterGilbert, Ariz.- Chandler-Gilbert Community College students have a new facility for athletics and more, after officials dedicated the Coyote Center Wednesday.  The 74-thousand square foot building houses a gymnasium, fitness center, study areas, student affairs services and more.

“A synergistic use of facilities, of space, of function that meets a number of needs. That’s what you see in front of you today,” said CGCC President Dr. Linda Lujan. “The blended nature of this building is unique in the nation as I think Chandler-Gilbert is as well.”

Students spoke about the Coyote Center as an asset to athletes as well as students seeking registration services. The multi-use building was also built with the environment in mind, with features like solar hot water and LED lighting.
