Gilbert, Ariz. – The Town of Gilbert has been recognized with two prestigious 2025 Viddy Awards, an international competition celebrating excellence in video production and digital storytelling. Gilbert earned the Platinum Award for its 2025 State of the Town video, “Cultivating Gilbert’s Future, Together”, and the Gold Award for the Discover Gilbert commercial. 

Both award-winning productions were developed and led by the Office of Communications and Engagement, which oversees the Town’s creative content and storytelling efforts. Gilbert is one of only three recipients in Arizona to be recognized by the Viddy Awards this year.

The Viddy Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), which has been evaluating creative work since 1995. Originally founded as the Videographer Awards, the competition evolved into the Viddy Awards to reflect the ever-changing landscape of video technology and digital media. This prestigious recognition underscores Gilbert’s commitment to engaging storytelling and impactful visual communication.

The 2025 State of the Town video is a 22-minute documentary style video that features Mayor Scott Anderson and highlights Gilbert’s achievements, future initiatives, and the collaborative spirit that drives the community forward. With its compelling narrative and dynamic visuals, the production showcases the town’s dedication to growth and prosperity.

The Discover Gilbert commercial captures the vibrant essence of Gilbert, spotlighting its attractions, businesses, and community events. Through stunning cinematography and a lively message, the video encourages residents and visitors alike to explore all that Gilbert has to offer.
