Gilbert, AZ - The Gilbert Police Department is at the forefront of the latest technology, with the addition of SPIDR Tech, a customer service digital engagement tool designed to keep victims of crime, reporting parties, and 9-1-1 callers informed when they request police assistance and services. SPIDR Tech is a fully automated system that provides callers pertinent information and updates about their case or incident via text message or email.
Providing quality services is paramount to the work the Gilbert Police Department does on a day-to-day basis. At the conclusion of a police event or investigation, SPIDR Tech collects feedback about a caller’s experience with the Gilbert Police Department through mobile-friendly surveys comprised of questions that can be utilized to measure community trust and satisfaction.
“SPIDR Tech gives Gilbert PD the opportunity to gauge our performance and to gather valuable feedback from our community that will allow us to continue to improve on the services we provide,” said Gilbert Police Department Chief Michael Soelberg.
Upon calling the Gilbert Police Department, callers can expect to receive a text message that will acknowledge their call. If a police officer is requested to respond, callers will receive updates when an officer has been dispatched. Crime victims will receive customized updates ensuring they are informed not only through the initial police contact, but also when the case is assigned to a detective and as the investigation progresses. At the conclusion of the police event or investigation, callers can expect a survey link to gather feedback on the person’s experience. SPIDR Tech’s messaging is also available in Spanish.
