AZCares Fund Update: $24.8M Allocated For COVID-19 Relief, Public Safety

Gilbert, Ariz. - Gilbert has allocated 97% of its AZCares Fund dollars to assist with COVID-19 relief and public safety in our community.

To date, the Council Cares Subcommittee has authorized the use of $28.4 million from the $29.2 million Gilbert received from Governor Ducey in May 2020.

Gilbert assembled the Council Cares Subcommittee to better understand the impacts of COVID-19 on residents, businesses and nonprofits and ensure the AZCares Fund dollars were allocated to meet the short and long-term needs of our community.
