Gilbert Prepares for Phase 2 of Reopening Plan Beginning June 1st
Gilbert, Ariz. – In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Gilbert is taking a phased approach to reopening its facilities in an effort to prioritize the health of residents and staff.
Phase 2 of the plan begins Monday, June 1st and includes the following updates:
- June 1st - The Arizona Supreme Court will begin requiring anyone who enters the Gilbert Municipal Court to wear a cloth mask/face covering and participate in a brief health screening. Read more.
- June 1st - Gilbert’s One Stop Shop reopens for in-person counter service with enhanced sanitation and physical distancing. Residents are asked to wear a mask when visiting the One Stop Shop. Read more.
- June 2nd - In-person access to public meetings, including town council meetings, will reopen to the public with limited capacity to allow for physical distancing. Online participation will continue to be available. Read more.
- June 3rd - Gilbert’s Household Hazardous Waste facility reopens to the public with modifications to operations and hours. Read more.
