The 2020 Census is almost here! Every household in Gilbert will receive an invitation to participate in the census by April 1st. And this year – for the first time ever – residents can respond online. Your participation in the 2020 Census will shape Gilbert's future for years to come. Learn more at gilbertaz.gov/2020census.
Attention science lovers! Volunteers are needed for Gilbert’s 10th Annual Water Festival coming up on March 4-5th. This two-day educational field day instills a deeper understanding of Arizona’s water resources through hands-on activities for Gilbert fourth graders. No experience is needed. Head to gilbertaz.gov to learn more.
Other events taking place this week include Town Council Special Meeting Executive Session at 5:30 PM on Tuesday, February 4th followed by a Town Council Regular Meeting at 6:30 PM that same night. There is also a Citizens Transportation Task Force at 1 PM on Wednesday, February 5th and a Planning Commission Meeting at 5 PM that same night.
The Gilbert Water Tower will be lit red from Friday, February 7th through Sunday, February 9th in recognition of National Wear Red Day to raise awareness about heart disease. Submit a request.
