The Earth ♥s Gilbert Kindness

Post Date:04/01/2019 8:00 AM

Gilbert, Ariz. - Join Mayor Jenn Daniels and all of your Gilbert neighbors in showing the Earth some Gilbert Kindness this Earth Month 2019. Commit to saving water this year by joining the National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation! Let’s show the world we know how precious water is in the desert and celebrate our Earth.

Take the pledge now:

Okay, I’ve done the pledge, but how do I actually save water? In Gilbert, chances are you can save most of your water in your yard. Most lawns and plants are overwatered by about double!

Saving water in your yard not only helps you, but is also kind to your neighbors by ensuring no extra water is hanging out in the soil to be used by plants that don’t need it. Water saved today is water saved for the future. Find out how you can save the most water at home by scheduling a free water checkup with Gilbert Water Conservation.

Already had a water checkup? Share about your experience on social media using #WaterWiseGilbert so your friends and family can learn about scheduling one, too!

For the first time, we're excited to be celebrating Arizona Water Professionals Week April 14th - 20th. Follow Gilbert Town Hall on Facebook and @GilbertYourTown on Twitter and Instagram to discover all the people it takes to manage and deliver this precious liquid.

Thanks again for choosing to save water and showing our planet #GilbertKindness! ♥
