  • Happy Thanksgiving! Gilbert municipal offices will be closed this Thursday and Friday, November 22nd and 23rd, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Please note that trash and recycling pickup will continue as scheduled.  
  • The first major holiday shopping weekend is here! Gilbert is home to some of the best places to shop with several local artisans who create handmade products that you won't find anywhere else. Be sure to shop Gilbert this holiday season! Learn more at discovergilbert.com/shop-gilbert
  • Looking for a way to show some Gilbert Kindness and give back this holiday season? The Gilbert Fire and Rescue Department is collecting new, unwrapped toys, clothing, shoes and gift cards for kids in our community. Learn more.
  • Mark your calendar to join us on Thursday, November 29th at 6:00 PM as we light up the Gilbert Water Tower for the holiday season! Enjoy live music, horse and carriage rides through the streets of the Heritage District, food trucks and more.  
  • Colder weather is here! Help the Gilbert Fire and Rescue Department prevent false alarms by cleaning your smoke detectors before turning on your heater for the first time this winter. Visit gilbertaz.gov/fire for more information.
