Gilbert’s Website Gets a New Look (And More!)

Post Date:07/25/2018 3:23 PM

Gilbert's Website Gets a New Look (And More!)Gilbert, Ariz. - We’re excited to announce that we have officially launched the redesigned www.gilbertaz.gov website! The new website features include:

  • Search-Centric Navigation: The search bar is now prominently displayed on the homepage. Analytics showed that many website visitors begin their site visit by using the search bar. Now visitors have a more personalized experience and are able to get the information they need faster.
  • Quick Access Buttons: We’ve made access to our most popular pages even easier! These buttons on the homepage allow us to highlight items of community interest.
  • “Find a Service”: We’re introducing this new feature which offers drop-down options that help navigate the user to the service they need before directing them to a page. The information included in this new feature is based on analytics from the previous website and Gilbert 311, ensuring that we are offering website visitors the information they request most.
  • Vision Search Engine: visionSearch is a premium search alternative to the standard Google Custom Search Engine. The new visionSearch engine will provide fast and accurate results and intelligent indexing, providing a more customized experience for visitors.

“Gilbert’s website is 24/7 portal to vital information for our citizens, businesses and visitors,” said Gilbert Mayor Jenn Daniels. “I am thrilled that this newly redesigned website is making it easier for people to connect with Gilbert and stay informed.”
