Gilbert, Ariz.- Arizona State University’s Startup School is back this fall at Gilbert’s SPARK Spot. This six-week course is comprised of facilitated workshops where entrepreneurs will learn how to develop a successful venture. Participants will be provided with the resources necessary to scale their ideas in a smart and strategic way. This includes learning how to create a business plan, develop prototypes, and launch solutions in the marketplace.
The inaugural class graduated in spring of 2016 and attracted 23 students.
“Startup School, combined with the other free workshops offered at SPARK Spot, proved to be a huge success within Gilbert’s entrepreneur community,“ said Hilary Hirsch, Business Retention and Expansion specialist with Gilbert’s Office of Economic Development. “Our fall program reached capacity within the first week of opening registration, and we are developing more programs to serve the startup community.”
Startup School begins October 12th for registered participants at SPARK Spot in the Southeast Regional Library. This course is one of the many free business resources SPARK Spot provides for Gilbert-based businesses. For more information, visit www.gilbertedi.com/spark.php.
