GILBERT, AZ - Two marijuana dispensaries will open their doors for business within the Town of Gilbert.  As a result they will provide medical marijuana under licensing from the State of Arizona.  One dispensary will be located near McQueen and Elliot Roads and plans to open in August. The second, near Power and Warner Roads, is anticipated to open in the coming months.

The Gilbert Police Department reminds citizens that the Arizona Revised Statutes restricts private cultivation within twenty-five miles of a registered medical marijuana dispensary.  Under Arizona Revised Statutes 36-2804.02.f,  private cultivation will no longer be allowed for medical marijuana users once a registered dispensary is operating within twenty-five miles of the qualifying patient's home.
