Public Hearing Annual Actioin Plan

The Town of Gilbert will host two public hearings for Gilbert's 2018 fourth year CDBG Annual Action Plan. Public Hearings are available to allow public comment and feedback of the proposed CDBG goals, projects, and activities outlined in the plan. The 30 day public comment begins March 1 and ends March 30, 2018.
The Plan provides an assessment of the community needs, goals, and priorities in the areas of affordable housing, human services, community development and other programs designed to improve the quality of life for low and moderate income Gilbert residents.
The Annual Action Plan lists specific programs and dollar amounts and serves as the fiscal year 2018-2019 Town application to HUD for the allocation of CDBG funding, estimated to be $888,761 and HOME Investment Partnership funding estimated to be $201,990. Citizens are encouraged to review the draft plan available on the Town’s website and to attend public meetings/hearings to provide feedback and comment.
