You're invited to the Town of Gilbert 9/11 Memorial Ceremony beginning at 6:30 PM on Friday, September 11th.

Join Gilbert Fire and Rescue and the Gilbert Police Department as we remember the lives lost and pay tribute to the brave first responders who answered the call on September 11th, 2001.

The ceremony will be followed by a Tribute in Light from 7:30 - 10:30 PM. Two beams of light will be projected into the sky to symbolize the World Trade Center's twin towers.

Before the ceremony, from 5 to 6:30 PM, employees and their families are invited to participate in hands-on service activities. We’ll create items to support foster children, refugees, seniors and others in need.

If you’re looking for other service opportunities to give back, there are several happening throughout the community on September 11 and 12, including our next Day of Service for Seniors.

Together, we remember through service. Never forget.
