If you are attending the Gilbert Student Citizen of the Month Award Ceremony, here is what to expect:
- The ceremony will begin at 6:00 pm.
- Please arrive early, as seating is limited.
- Please check in at the front desk prior to the ceremony.
- The students will be called up in three groups – Elementary Schools beginning with letters A-J, Elementary Schools beginning with letters K-Z and all Junior High/High Schools.
- Each student will then be called individually by name and receive a certificate and swag bag from the Mayor and Council.
- Each student will take a photo with Mayor Anderson.
- Each group will then take a group photo with the Council.
Parents and legal guardians have the right to consent before the Town of Gilbert makes a video or voice recording of a minor child, A.R.S. 1-602.A.9. This ceremony will be recorded and may be viewed on the Gilbert Live website. If you permit your child to participate in the ceremony, a recording will be made.
