Arizona State University's Polytechnic Campus
ASU Polytechnic is one of four Arizona State University campuses located in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area. Strategically located at Gilbert's eastern border, ASU Polytechnic offers 30 degree programs with over 6,000 students currently enrolled.
Northern Arizona University
Northern Arizona University has a campus in the Town of Gilbert, as well as one on the campus of Chandler Gilbert Community College serving both undergraduate and graduate students of the community.

Maricopa Community Colleges
The Maricopa Community Colleges consists of ten nationally accredited colleges, two skill centers and multiple satellite education centers located throughout Greater Phoenix. The District educates and trains well over 277,000 students per year in academic and occupational programs, making it the largest system of its kind in the nation and the largest single provider of higher education in Arizona.

Chandler-Gilbert Community College
Paving the way for higher education in the Southeast Valley since 1985, Chandler-Gilbert Community College serves more than 16,000 credit and non-credit students annually. CGCC serves the needs of the Southeast Valley and offers new programs in nursing, law enforcement and pharmacy technology. In addition to university transfer and general education options, signature educational programs include Aviation, Information Technologies, Teacher Education, Engineering, Automated Manufacturing Systems, Electric Utility Technology, Crime/Intelligence Analysis, Athletics, Performing Arts, student clubs and organizations, service learning programs and learning communities are among many other factors that make CGCC a great place to earn a college degree.
Mesa Community College
Mesa Community College (MCC) is located 3 miles from Gilbert and provides service to over 24,000 students. MCC offers a comprehensive array of classes including: transfer, occupational, developmental, continuing and community education, 2-year degree and certificate programs, service learning programs, non-credit courses, and programs for seniors. The college also offers classes delivered through alternative methods such as the Internet, videoconference network and independent learning options. MCC has several locations to better serve the community: the MCC at Southern and Dobson Campus, the MCC at Red Mountain Campus at Power and McKellips Roads, and the Extended Campus locations, including Downtown Center/Centennial Way in Mesa, the Downtown Center/Country Club and Brown, the ASU Research Park in Tempe, the Williams Campus and Distance Learning. MCC's Business and Industry Institute, located in downtown Mesa, provides customized computer systems, network administration, management and manufacturing training for local employers.
East Valley Institute of Technology
The East Valley Institute of Technology is a joint technological school district formed in 1990 by voters in ten participating East Valley school districts. The $46 million state-of-the-art campus offers classes in more than 35 different areas for high school students and adults. High school students attend tuition free. Adults are required to pay tuition. Programs include Commercial Art, Graphic Production Technologies, New World Technologies, Digital Imaging, Interior Design, Photo Imaging, Radio Broadcasting, Video Productions, Business Systems, Computer Programming, Air Conditioning HVAC/R, Automotive, Collision Repair, Computer Repair, Cisco Networking Systems, Microsoft Networking/MCSE, Novell Networking Systems, Construction, Avionics/Electronics, Engineering/Technology Program (ET), Precision Machining Technology, Welding, Cosmetology, Health Occupations, Early Childhood Professions, Culinary Arts, Fire Fighting, Law Enforcement and Hospitality/Travel and Tourism.
