GILBERT VETERAN'S DAY CELEBRATION: Join the Town of Gilbert Wednesday, Nov. 10, to honor our local veterans at the annual Veteran’s Day celebration at Town Hall. The event is in partnership with the Town, the Gilbert Historical Society and the American Legion. Ten Gilbert employees have joined countless heroic residents in serving our nation, in the last year alone, including three who are currently deployed or awaiting deployment. We thank you for your service to our nation and truly heroic actions. Please join us to thank all of our local veterans. This year's guest speaker is Colonel Aaron Vangelisti, Operations Commander, 161st Air Refueling Wing, Arizona Air National Guard.
2011 PRIMARY ELECTION CANDIDATE PACKETS AVAILABLE: The Town of Gilbert will hold a Primary Election on Tuesday, March 8, 2011for the purpose of electing four Councilmembers. A General Election will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, if needed.
Candidate packets are available beginning Monday, October 11, 2010. Packets may be obtained in the Clerk’s Office, 50 East Civic Center Drive, Gilbert, Arizona 85296, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Nomination papers may be filed with the Clerk no earlier than Monday, November 8, 2010 and no later than Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 5:00 p.m.Candidate Packets Available.
