2011 State of the Town Address
You are invited to celebrate the 2011 State of the Town Address, presented by Mayor John Lewis at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, at Town Hall, 50 E. Civic Center Drive. A 6:30 p.m. reception will precede the address, which will highlight additional 2010 success, and look ahead to the rest of 2011. |

YOUTH SPRING BALL
The Gilbert Community Services Department offers a Youth Spring Ball Program to all boys and girls age 4-12 who are interested in playing the game of softball, baseball or T-ball for the fun of the sport. There are no tryouts, all-star teams, or post season tournaments. All participants play an equal amount of time and receive a participation award at the end of the season. Learn more.

Get Fit: Valentine's Day
The Freestone Recreation Center will be hosting the ‘Get Fit Valentine Fitness Challenge on Saturday February 2, 2011 from 10-11am. Is your Valentine up for a little competition? This challenge is to complete a mile and a half run (18 laps) and each of the challenges listed in a tag team fashion. Learn more.

NEW SENIOR OPTIONS
Great news for seniors in Gilbert and surrounding towns, a new exercise class designed just for them, has started in the Town of Gilbert's Freestone Recreation Center. Jenny Triggs, who among many other fitness qualifications is the recipient of President Clinton's Silver Eagle Award for service to senior fitness, has joined the staff at Freestone Recreation Center and has a brand new class program for senior enjoyable exercise and socializing. Get active.

Gilbert offers a regular line dancing course through the Gilbert Senior Center, located in the Gilbert Community Center at 140 N. Oak in the Heritage District. We welcome residents to take part in the fun way to be active and meet new friends.
