BEST PLACES TO LIVE: Gilbert continues to celebrate our recognition as being one of the Best Places to Live in the nation. Money Magazine named the Town the 36th Best Place to Live in the entire United States. Reasons cited included the amenities and events that promote the "small town feel" that we maintain as we continue to grow as a destination for new families. Gilbert was one of only two Arizona cities to make the list. The honor comes not long after GreatSchools.org also pointed to Gilbert as one of the top places to "live and learn." Learn more about our points of pride.

SPOTLIGHT ON THE ARTS: Join us October 5 for the Mayor's Breakfast with the Arts at the Higley Center for the Performing Arts. The event pays tribute to artists and organizations who promoted the arts in our Town. Deadline to nominate an artist or group who promoted art in support of our community is Sept. 8. Learn more or nominate.

GET INVOLVED: Enrollment is underway for the Mayor's Youth Advisory Committee. It is a great opportunity to learn about the political process, and to get involved in your local government, while earning community service time. Learn about the annual activities and how to apply.

COMMUNITY CALENDAR: Planning a community event? Or just want to know what is going on?
