In Loving Memory of Lieutenant Eric Shuhandler

Lieutenant Eric Shuhandler, a 16-year veteran with the Gilbert Police Department, was killed in the line of duty on Thursday, January 28, 2010. Shuhandler served Gilbert between 1994 and 2010 and at the time of his death was a patrol supervisor who oversaw the school resource officer program. Shirts in honor of Lt Shuhandler are available for purchase in time for his anniversary date on January 28. The shirts are being sold as a fund-raiser for Gilbert PD personnel attending Police Week in May 2011 when Lt Shuhandler will be honored in Washington DC. The shirts are available to order now, they are short-sleeved and heather gray. Download Order Form

The community has expressed an outpouring of support for the family of Lieutenant Eric Lewis Shuhandler, and the Gilbert Police Department.
