Become a part of a fun and hard working team!
Apply for an aquatics position in 2012.

To become a LIFEGUARD/WSI:

  1. Sign up for a Red Cross Lifeguard Training course (15+yrs) offered over Spring Break in March 2012.
  2. If you are eligible (ages 16+yrs), take the Water Safety Instructor (instruct swim lessons) course offered in late March 2012.
  3. Fill out the online 2012 aquatics application for the Town of Gilbert beginning February 17, 2012.
  4. Participate in our skills testing and interviews in mid-April 2012 (exact dates will be announced and printed on job posting).

All courses are offered at Greenfield Pool 35 S. Greenfield Road. Course fees $130.
Registration begins 1/30/12. Attendance at all class sessions is required.

POOL RULES

1. Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult or responsible person at all times.
2. Please shower before swimming. No running at anytime
3. Inflatable supports are permitted in the zero depth area only.
4. Diaper changing is strictly prohibited near pool area. Please utilize restrooms or family changing room.
5. Not responsible for lost or stolen articles
6. All persons entering the water must be in a swim suit. No cotton shorts, cutt offs, or T-shirts are permitted. Swim shirts with nylon or polyester are allowed.
7. Directions of pool staff must be followed at all times
8. Diving allowed in designated area only
9. Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult to enter zero depth area.
10. No gum, tobacco, or glass containers permitted in pool. Food must be consumed in designated areas only.
11. Please deposit trash in the containers provided
12. Waterslides at Mesquite have a 42” height requirement.
